Founded in 1968, the Society of Ohio Archivists’ mission is to exchange information, coordinate activities, and improve professional competence in Ohio’s archives and manuscript repositories. Membership in the society is open to the public, and we invite anyone with an interest in archives and manuscripts to join.

SOA in Social Media National History Day Toolkit Universal Declaration on Archives Petition
Visit SOA on Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, and Pinterest! They’re great places to share ideas, photos, and information. The Society of American Archivists is introducing a new online toolkit of resources for National History Day. The toolkit was developed for archivists, librarians, teachers and students. For more information, see SAA’s invitation to use the toolkit and brochure on how to participate in National History Day. The International Council on Archives (ICA) and its Section of Professional Associations (ICA SPA) has passed the Universal Declaration on Archives and this past year it was adopted at the 36th Session of the General Conference of UNESCO.To register your support for the UDA, visit SAA’s website.
