Since its establishment in 1968, this fine organization has provided professional development to archivists and supported non-archivists, and its accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the society itself but also on the state.

Over the years, the Society of Ohio Archivists has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and the organization’s generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as the Society of Ohio Archivists maintains its dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has been the hallmark of this fine agency since its establishment.

Thus, with sincere pleasure, we congratulate the Society of Ohio Archivists on its Forty-fifth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success.
